Women's Tennis place three on 2025 Liberty League All-Conference Team
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Three members of the RIT women's tennis team were named to the 2025 Liberty League All-Conference team announced Monday, May 19.
First year Maya McDaniel was a second-team singles selection. First year Emily Greb was an honorable mention singles pick, and McDaniel and classmate Melanie Saborio were honorable mention doubles selections.
McDaniel recorded an 11-8 record in singles competition, including seven wins at first singles. She was tied for eighth in the league with .500 winning percentage at first singles and was the Liberty League Rookie of the Week March 3.
Greb finished with a 10-5 record in singles competition, including a 4-1 record in Liberty League play. She finished with an 8-4 record at second singles and was 2-0 at third singles.
McDaniel and Saborio recorded a 7-3 record, including a 2-2 record in Liberty League competition. The duo won four matches a first doubles and were 3-0 at second doubles.
RIT finished with six wins, including two in the Liberty League.
RIT finished with a 9-9 record, including a 5-3 mark in Liberty League play. The Tigers beat Ithaca, 4-3 in the opening round of the Liberty League Tournament.
